Cottage Angels offers a wide range of maintenance services for holiday cottages and second homes in Cumbria and the Lake District.

Our "Check & Service" is like the MOT test and regular servicing for your car. We will provide both a spring service to ensure your home is in good shape for the summer and an autumn service to ensure it is ready for the winter.

an "Open up" service for the new season, which includes: interior spring clean, exterior window clean, function test of heating, lighting, plumbing & major appliances, replacement of smoke alarm batteries, installing & checking Carbon Monoxide detectors (where required)
heating system service once per year, including Landlord's certificate where gas is used
portable electrical appliance testing (PAT) to comply with legislation
winter preparation, which includes: security check, clean out of rain water gutters and valleys, inspection of down-pipes and drains, chimneys swept, taps and ball valve seals checked and replaced if necessary, water pipes and heating systems drained down if property to be left unheated
